I’ve been working with a writer/publisher in Charleston to create an annual publication that highlights female voices in a landscape that is largely male dominated. We include short stories and poems from writers, artwork by local and regional artists and interviews and recipes from culinarians. Volume 1, 2025, focused on the theme of Home. We recently published Volume 2, which focuses on the theme of Relationships.
For the design, we stayed within the green family to signify growth and renewal. The logo shows an unfinished R, representing the revision process that’s so prevalent in the creative process.
In the words of Margaret Atwood, “We were revisionists; what we are revising is ourselves.”
